Hello there! I am Andrea Ercolino, a young Cybersecurity Specialist who moved from Italy to Germany. You can define me as a proud European citizen. I love a nice Jazz record played on a old turntable that fills the room with rich melodies while I am coding or writiging the essays that I publish on this website.

I am a FOSS entusiasth and supporter of projects that aim to create a calmer and more human-centered spaces on the Web. By joining the italian instances of Mastodon and Pixelfed I re-discovered the joy of using real social media, where there is no algortmic fed slop. I also support Jolla and SailfishOS and I am seriusly planning to move to a SailfishOS device permanently.

I often travel inside Europe, but I would love to explore places in Asia and Australia.
